Cape Town International Airport (CPT)
Facilities and Services

(Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa)

Cape Town International Airport is South Africa's second-largest airport and it is of major importance due to the high number of tourists that visit the Western Cape region each year.

Traffic has increased substantially since 1994 and is expected to continue to grow in leaps and bounds, necessitating significant extensions and upgrades to the airport terminals and facilities.

Terminals 1 to 5 are arranged in a straight line along the main airport road and are all within easy pedestrian access of one another.

Cape Town International Airport has comprehensive passenger services and facilities, and was voted 'Leading Airport in Africa' from 2001 to 2004, taking second place to Johannesburg International Airport in 2005.
