Cape Town International Airport (CPT)
Car Parking

(Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa)

Cape Town International Airport has roughly 2,600 parking spaces that are covered by shade-net. The parking area is located directly in front of the terminal buildings and runs the length of the airport building, so that visitors can park within easy walking distance of any terminal, provided there are available spaces in that area.

However, even if no spaces are available close to the relevant terminal, shuttle cabs run regularly along the length of the parking area and provide transport to and from the airport terminals.

The airport operates a pay-on-foot system and visitors should remember to pay their parking fees at the automated machines that are located outside each of the terminal buildings as payment can't be made at the airport exit.

An additional five-storey parkade is currently under construction in anticipation of increased parking demands in the coming years.

Main Car Park

Cape Town International Airport (CPT) main car parking area is located directly in front of the terminals and runs the length of the airport facility. The terminals can easily be accessed on foot; alternatively, there is a shuttle cab service to provide transport to the terminals.

Valet and Long-Term

Valet parking and lock-up garages at Cape Town International Airport are operated by Katanga Executive Parking Services. Pre-booking is essential.

Disabled

Specially reserved disabled parking spaces are available close to the terminal building.
